-Make a list of what you need. Impulses can be fun but they can leave you trembling. Buy with a mixture of head and heart.
-The best days are the first and the last ones.
-Invest in the good pieces. Buy this necklace that you have been wishing for months, the pair of boots that next year will be almost new, the tenth black blazer.
-Make sure you know which pieces are on sale: check that both the original price and the discount price are shown.
-Buy items that are never out of fashion: a strong ring, a necklace of one of the designers that you like most, a pair of jeans.

These silver earrings with a lava seed are part of the Hojas collection from Nadia Rabosio. The complete collection, necklace, bracelet and several different designs of earrings is authentic jewelry. They are made with silver 925 and with Italian lava stone. We like the metallic touch of silver combined with the strange texture of the lava. It is not by coincidence that Nadia Rabosio is from Italy… If you pay attention you will see her fingerprints on the silver parts.

I love Trendwatching. Those guys spend their time thinking and writing about trends; they do it so cleverly and with so much intelligence that I await for their reports like as a child, I awaited the books of The Famous Five and when 17, the magazine Elle. They have just published their prediction for 2010. They talk of (F)luxury, that is how traditional luxury needs to be flexible. There is so much luxury that it is no longer something different. Have you seen Stromboli (Rossellini, 1950)? In this Italian film, Ingrid Bergman is a northern woman who, escaping from a complicated life, moves to an island dominated by a volcano. In Stromboli, the volcano is as much a protagonist as the Swedish actress. And you will say: why is she talking about this? Well, because we don’t want to be less than Rossellini (even though this is an unforgivable audacity) and we want to put a volcano (nice and quiet of course) in our lives.
How do we do it? Through its lava, a natural phenomena that inspires beauty as well as respect. The designer Nadia Rabosio has recuperated the Italian lava, black, very much black, porous and with an unusual fell and she has designed a jewelry collection called “Hojas”. Now you can buy earrings, necklaces and bracelets where the volcanic lava is mixed with silver. Craftsmanship is behind this jewelry and you can even see the designer’s fingerprints on the silver.
