Coral de la Croix
Coral de la Croix was born in Madrid (1970), child of a Spanish father and German mother. Already very early she is interested in art. She likes design, fashion, drawing… In 1989 she starts her studies in Fashion in the IADE of Madrid and in 1991 she moves to New York to study Fashion Drawing and Illustration in the prestigious Parson’s School (where some of today’s most popular designers also studied). The next year she is already working in the fashion world at “atelier” of Lolita Lempicka of Paris. Once back in Spain she decides to totally focus her energies and creative spirit on the design and creation of fashion jewelry. Coral de la Croix, the brand, was born in 1999, and from then on this name has stood for some of the most unusual collections of Designer Jewelry, both in Spain and abroad. In 2006, LEVEL ONE by Coral de la Croix makes its entry: a new line of designs for Designer Fashion Jewelry, fit for a life style that is cosmopolitan, urban, sophisticated and very much for today. Today the designs of earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets of Coral de la Croix can be found in the showcases of the best boutiques in Spain and in International markets, such as France, Switzerland, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Coral de la Croix loves travelling to stimulate her creativity - - to countries like Morocco, Thailand, Greece, Tanzania, South Africa, Colombia and Eastern Europe. In every trip she dedicates lots of time to look for inspiration and hopes to find new materials for her next collection. The fusion of different cultural mixtures, trends and styles results in pieces of jewelry that are very special and truly different. |
